arizona wedding photography ~ sarah and nicholas

This was from a wedding we did at Troon North Golf Club.   Sarah and Nicholas go to school in Indiana, so we hadn’t met them till the wedding day.  We had gone up a day or so before the wedding to check out Troon North Golf Club’s photo ops.  Amber Riley, their wedding coordinator over at Troon, met us and showed us all around.  It was a gorgeous spot to have a wedding with the most beautiful hilltop scenery that can be had in the valley.  We were pleasantly surprised upon entering the bridal suite to find Sarah and her sister, Amy, as well as, Nick’s sister, Brittney, busily preparing and getting ready.  Sarah chose a beautiful, lace gown, very sophisticated and vintage inspired.  On her feet, she wore gorgeous, hot pink, Stuart Weitzman strappy sandals.  The girls, wore bright green knee length dresses with small white shrugs on their shoulders.  The flowers were beautiful in bright colors of orange, fushia and lime.  Nick’s grandparents, Jeannie and Bernie were sitting in the foyer right outside the bridal suite all done up in their finery, too cute.  Rich went over to the groom’s dressing room to meet Nick and his brother and best man, Chris as well as groomsmen, Matt (his other brother), Steve (Sarah’s brother) and Ryan a good friend of Nick’s.  Little ringbearer was played by Jordan, Nick’s nephew.  As always, he was simply adorable.  We went out with Sarah and the girls to take some photos of them against the drop dead scenery and then told her to go into hiding while we grabbed Nick and his family and the rest of the guys for some “macho” shots of them on the boulders.

Before long, it was time for their garden ceremony to take place.  The guests arrived in the beautiful lawn area of the golf course which was filled with ceremony brochures in beautiful pastel shades of pink, orange, lime and yellow.  Their minister spoke some beautiful words about how the rings have such meaning and mean that you are one to each other.  It proved to be a touching sentiment as they each placed their bands on one another.  With about 45 minutes of sunlight left, we quickly got to work following the ceremony while the guests moved on to the sunset terrace for some hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

Amber grabbed a six seater golf cart and away we went all over to capture Troon’s beauty with our happy couple.  Something about trees……………..and their are reflections in a lake……….

Our happy couple went on a beautiful honeymoon in the Bahama’s.  They said it was fantastic as we have spoken to them since their.  So without any more commentary from me, here are some of our fav’s, and as usual, please leave us a comment here on the blog, thanks!
