Olivia new this really cute place in Glendale, Papa Ed’s Ice Cream.  It had the best ice cream and the place, OMG, so vintage and so adorable.  Full of colors, and tons of details.  AND, the woman couldn’t have been nicer.  She came out and congratulated Chris and Olivia and then offered them a cone for free!  I mean, seriously.  So anyone in the area, heck even if you aren’t in the area, go on down to Glendale and stop by and do yourself a favor, get a cone, shake, what have you.  You won’t be disappointed, I can assure you of that!

We picked the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, our only day free from weddings and Rich met them down at Smith Point along with her sister’s family and Kristen’s parents.  Tom, Kristen’s husband is being deployed again to Iraq, so they wanted to get this accomplished before he leaves.  Luckily the weather gods were on our side and on our side they REALLY were, do you believe this magical light that they had!

Man, some people only dream about such a sunset and crystal blue seas.

Tom is a real practical joker, half way through the shooting, he wanted to get wet, and get wet he did.  BUT, he wasn’t the only one, check these out….

Anyway, without further chatting and gabbing on my part, here they are……

It was funny to see how much bigger Jagger is than Maisyn (love the names, by the way) but they sure were cute together.  She put them in these two suits which were given to them by friends at Frank’s workplace, which read in a big pink circle “Twin A–Maisyn”, as she was the first one delivered naturally, I might add, way to go, Halle, and, not to be outdone,  in a big blue circle on his tummy, “Twin B–Jagger”!!!

They weighed in at 4 lbs. 1 ounce and 4 lbs. 2 ounces, respectively.  Jagger was a little longer by 1 1/2 inches, and as you can see, they were soooo adorable.  Like little angels.  Maisyn, though, took the award for most hair!  (Like all girls should, I might add!  Ha ha  Sorry, Frank!!!!)

Like I have said many, many times before, we love to see our couples come in to show us and have us shoot their little ones.  It brings the whole scenario full circle for us.  They took their turns and then we shot them with mommy and daddy.

I couldn’t believe how good they were for newborns!  They were with us for about two hours and you hardly heard a peep out of them.  Halle is staying home with her new little ones for now and cherishs every minute she has with them both, as all of us mothers know.  The time goes by way to fast to miss one little second of it.

I asked them, who they looked like, as I couldn’t see any outright, “OMG, they look just like…………………..”  She says they resemble her exactly in photos when she was their age, but all I can say is they were gorgeous!
